February can't get here fast enough!

I've felt okay for about a week and then today I started to feel pain again. Not sure if it was my gallbladder or not but I have a feeling it might have been. I'm feeling better tonight, I just hope I can sleep through the night.

Oh and I need a new cooling pad for my laptop!

  1. Hi Becky,

I have a 10 year old daughter with ADHD.
Is there any suggestions you can make for her.
We are trying to help her concentrate more and not be so implusive.

    Thanks,
    Mary

Thanks for your answer. I would love to just understand it better. I have a 10 year old that has it. And your answer does help me. I appreciate you getting back to me.

My daughter has been diagnosed with it since 4. I could tell as early as 3. It helped that my brother had it. So, I did see some of those signs early on.

She is on medication, only for school so any holidays, weekends, summer, or vacations and such she is not on them. She is a real handful when she is not on them.

I feel the more I learn about this the better I am with handling her with it.
I try to be patient with her, I understand it is a disability. Not her fault. But she has a sister and she is physical when she is not on the medication which I figure is because her brain is not telling her anything when it comes to her impulsiveness.

Thanks, I look forward to talking to you more.

    Mary

  5. Don't really know about the diet, I never really noticed anything but the sugar and caffeine. Sorry I'm not a lot of help here. There is a good A.D.D magazine for for ADHD. and there website is also a good place to go.
